Block 71 San Francisco relocates

Block 71 San Francisco, established in 2015 to bridge Singapore and US tech ecosystems, has moved to a new location.

The new premises features a more spacious area — some 185 square metres more than the former place. It offers dedicated event space, an increased number of meeting rooms and is more adequately equipped to meet the needs of start-ups. Banners featuring colloquial terms, as well as meeting rooms named after familiar spots in Singapore such as Changi and Marina Bay, bring a touch of Singapore to the US-based office.

“The shift has brought Block 71 San Francisco to South Park, a dynamic start-up enclave with a rich history in producing some of the world’s most successful start-ups," shared NUS Enterprise CEO Dr Lily Chan. "We are excited at the opportunities that it will bring to our start-ups based there. At the same time, we continue to help bridge the Singapore and US start-up communities for strategic synergies.“

Block 71 San Francisco is managed by NUS Enterprise, in partnership with Singtel Innov8 and Infocomm Investments Pte Ltd. It hosts regular events which connect industry leaders, entrepreneurs and investors to assist Singapore-based start-ups to launch their operations in the US market.
