CNRS President delivers lecture

Professor Alain H Fuchs, President of Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), France spoke on "Water in Hydrophobic Cavities at the Nanoscale on 6 November at NUS. The public lecture was held in conjunction with the Lee Kuan Yew Distinguished Visitors Programme, which invites internationally eminent and outstanding academics and scholars to Singapore to make high level contributions to NUS, Nanyang Technological University and Singapore in general.

Prof Fuchs, an expert in the theory, modelling and molecular thermodynamics of fluids confined in porous materials, is a Knight of the French Legion of Honor and Officer of the National Order of Québec.
