19th National Congress of the CPC and international relations in East Asia

Dr Chen Gang, Assistant Director (Policy Research) and Senior Research Fellow at the East Asian Institute at NUS, outlined the development of China’s international relations over the years. He opined that China may increase its sanctions on North Kora after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), which has the potential to reshape international relations in East Asian since the end of the Cold War.
