Age, class and the General Election

Assoc Prof Tan Ern Ser from the NUS Faulty of Arts and Social Sciences and Institute of Policy Studies at NUS highlighted that the concerns of the sandwiched generation and the middle class will matter in the 2015 general election. He opined that the perceived hardships arising from issues such as housing, healthcare and the pursuit of upward social mobility could affect the People's Action Party Government's track record, notwithstanding its efforts to address them over the past four years.
