Airline overbooking can be a win-win practice

Assoc Prof Lim Wei Shi from the Dept of Marketing at NUS Business School and Assoc Prof Yu Man from HKUST Business School, shared their research on airline bumping policy which advocates that rather than apply it in an ad-hoc manner, airlines should be transparent with travellers about the possibility of being bumped and the adoption of a voluntary bumping policy.
