Alibaba: Governance by corp politburo

Assoc Prof Lawrence Loh, Deputy Head of the Dept of Strategy and Policy at NUS Business School, noted that Alibaba's record-breaking New York listing in Sept 2014 may set a new trend in corporate governance, and that investors might think it necessary to trade off some benefits in order to skirt around the rules.
