This was a photo feature on a 3D image of E. coli bacteria that was taken using an atomic force microscope by Prof Lim Chwee Teck from the Mechanobiology Institute at NUS, who also holds joint appointments at the Depts of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering of NUS.
