China's Eurasia strategy to counter US naval power

Prof Wang Gungwu, Chairman of the East Asian Institute at NUS, opined that China's 'One Road, One Belt' strategy can be understood historically, as a response to countering American naval influence by deepening its own links among Central Asian partners and East Asian economies.
