Delhi: A quintessential example of India’s urban water mismanagement

Distinguished Visiting Professor Asit K Biswas of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS; Dr Cecilia Tortajada, Senior Research Fellow from the Institute of Water Policy at the School; and Ms Udisha Saklani, an independent policy researcher with the Institute discussed the water shortages in Delhi which are becoming something of an annual ritual. They noted that without any changes in the city’s water management policies, the prospect of the urban residents having access to water is grim.
