Duke-NUS research on regenerating heart muscle shows promise

An international research team led by Duke-NUS Medical School is working on giving patients with severely damaged heart muscles more treatment options. The first stage of their research on regenerating heart muscle using stem cells has shown encouraging results, according to a study published recently in the journal Cell Reports.
