First bilingual General Education course at NUS popular with students; Chinese Studies Department plans to offer more of such modules

The Dept of Chinese Studies at the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is offering its first bilingual course titled 'Bridging East and West: Exploring Chinese Communications' as a General Education module open to NUS students from all faculties. The success of the module has led to the introduction of another bilingual module titled' Chinese Pop Music in EastAsia. The Dept is also looking to introduce a bilingual module focusing on Singapore's Chinese communities and languages.
