Former ITE boy pursues dream at NUS with scholarship

Mr Quek Kai Yu, a student from the University Scholars Programme and the School of Computing at NUS was awarded the National Infocomm Scholarship last year, presented by the Infocomm Media Development Authority. Mr Quek wants to create a device that can interpret sign language by detecting hand movements using a video camera and translating them into English text.
