Found: Powerful ways of reusing waste

A team led by Prof Wang Chi-Hwa of the Dept of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NUS Faculty of Engineering has managed to turn horse and chicken manure into synthesis gas to produce electricity, and biochar which can be used to treat water. His team has also found that biochar can improve soil quality.
