GE2015: Why release sample count results?

Dr Gillian Koh from the Institute of Policy Studies at NUS discussed about the release of sample counts for GE2015 and shared that this may have been a result of rumours about the outcome of a few electoral contests before the official results were announced in the 2011 general election.
