Growing efforts in greening of NUS campus

As part of NUS’ Planting 10,000 Trees initiative, NUS will plant more than 10,000 trees, which include native and common species, along with rare and endangered species that are nurtured in the NUS nursery, throughout its campus in the next three years. The initiative, which also seeks to tap on the expertise of NUS researchers and employ smart technologies, builds on the existing Campus Greenery Plan which was introduced in 2012 with the aim of improving the campus’ green space and enveloping campus buildings in a tropical rainforest.
