High tech vegan meat

Prof Seeram Ramakrishna, Director of Center for Nanofibers & Nanotechnology at NUS Faculty of Engineering noted that high technology start-ups are eyeing the growing demand for faux meat. He highlighted that the food manufacturing industry plays a significant role in Singapore's economy, and opined that leveraging Singapore's strong reputation for high quality, high-tech vegan meat could be a new growth frontier.
