Home-based entrepreneurship boosts business creation, especially for HDB owners: study

A study by Professor Sumit Agarwal, Low Tuck Kwong Distinguished Professor from the Dept of Finance at NUS Business School and his team found that the Home Office Scheme, a home-based entrepreneurship scheme introduced by the Singapore government in 2001, has effectively promoted business creation activities among businesses permitted to operate in residential properties.
