Indian Heritage Centre launches first book

The Indian Heritage Centre has launched its first book titled Singapore Indian Heritage which traces the cultural heritage of the Indian community in Singapore and casts light on its plight during the Japanese Occupation. Edited by Assoc Prof Rajesh Rai, Deputy Head of South Asian Studies Programme at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the publication combines academic research with catalogue entries of the centre’s collection of over 300 artefacts, photographs and documents.
