India’s groundwater crisis invisible – and getting worse

Prof Asit K. Biswas from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, and Dr Cecilia Tortajada and Ms Udisha Saklani of the School’s Institute of Water Policy surmised that unless India can significantly improve its water management, states will become each other’s rivals, with a similar rivalry springing up between different types of water users.
