Lawrence Wong: Development of infrastructure facilities should drive technology and innovation

In his address at the “Infrastructure Development for Economic Competitiveness” conference co-organised by the Asia Competitiveness Institute at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS and the World Bank, Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong noted that our approach to infrastructure development cannot be just about having more of the same. He added that it is vital that we get infrastructure right, and that includes developing infrastructure that is sustainable, inclusive and innovative.
