Local study: Seniors who need day-to-day care to double by 2030

A study by Duke-NUS Medical School has found that there will be 82,968 seniors aged 60 and above who would need day-to-day care in 2030, more than double from that of 31,738 seniors back in 2010. Another study by Duke-NUS, NTU and Duke University revealed that there will be close to 800,000 patients with dementia by 2050.
