An ongoing study by researchers from Duke-NUS Medical School called Prescription Medication Label Improvement for Singaporean Elderly aims to help make prescription medication labels easier to understand for the elderly, many of whom struggle with English and have poor eyesight. The study, which started in 2017, gathered feedback on the use of pictograms in labels from 250 polyclinic patients aged 60 and older who could not read English.
