Many social workers unclear about social spending, poll finds

A survey conducted by Asst Prof Ng Kok Hoe of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS with volunteer group SW101 found that a third of 242 social workers polled had no idea how much the Government spends tackling poverty but half believed government programmes are helping poor people.
