Minister Chan calls for strong political centre at second Singapore-France Economic Forum

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, together with the Economic Society of Singapore and Le Cercle des économistes, organised the second Singapore-France Economic Forum which discussed new horizons for the world economy. Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Chan Chun Sing who addressed the forum opined that a strong political centre is needed for countries and leaders to make “difficult and bold trade-offs” that ensure long-term gains.
