Nanoplastics can accumulate in marine life and threaten human health: NUS study
A study by a team of researchers from the Dept of Chemistry at NUS Faculty of Science and the Tropical Marine Science Institute at NUS demonstrated that plastic nanoparticles could accumulate in marine organisms, transfer up the food chain and threaten food safety and human health.
