New research institute to tackle ageing issues

The Next Age Institute (NAI), an academic partnership between the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL), was launched on 23 February 2015. Helmed by Assoc Prof Chia Ngee Choon and Assoc Prof Corinne Ghoh from the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Prof Michael Sherraden from WUSTL, NAI will address social issues arising from an ageing population, such as intergenerational relationships and financial adequacy.
