The 10th International Conferences on South Asia, organised by the Institute of South Asian Studies at NUS, was attended by about 300 guests and focused on the politics and economics of land in South Asia. Minister for Finance, Mr Heng Swee Keat, was the Guest-of-Honour for the event.
