NUS and UM reaffirm strong ties

NUS and the University of Malaya (UM) reaffirmed their strong and longstanding ties by holding the UM-NUS Inter-University Tunku Chancellor Golf Tournament 2017. NUS Chancellor President Tony Tan Keng Yam hosted UM Chancellor, His Royal Highness Sultan Dr Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, the Sultan of the State of Perak, as well as faculty and staff from both universities at Goodwood Park Hotel, ahead of the tournament held on 20 July 2017. The UM-NUS Inter-University Tunku Chancellor Golf Tournament is an annual event that was inaugurated in 1968 and serves to renew the strong bonds of friendships and foster new relationships between faculty, staff and alumni of both universities. More than 100 golfers from NUS and UM took part in this year’s tournament.
