NUS associate professor leads volunteers, to massage HIV/AIDS patients every Saturday

Assoc Prof Albert Teo, Director of the Chua Thian Poh Community Leadership Programme at NUS, is one of nine recipients of the inaugural Singapore Patient Advocate Award (Individual) conferred by Tan Tock Seng Hospital Singapore. He started Touch Therapy for HIV/Aids patients in 2001 where volunteers massaged and comfort these patients to let them know that they are not alone.
