NUS Business School organises second Asian Monetary Policy Forum

About 100 central bank officials, economists and financial market participants attended the second Asian Monetary Policy Forum jointly organised by NUS Business School, Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research, Chicago Booth School of Business and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. In his keynote address, Dr Jacob Wenkel, Chairman of JP Morgan Chase International, cautioned that prolonging ultra-low interest rates would distort the allocation of resources and encourage asset price bubbles.
