NUS Engineering 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner

Dr Shahzad Nasim, Group Executive Chairman of Meinhardt (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Mr Seah Cheng San, Director of 3 Fleur Pte Ltd were conferred the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award and the Englneering Alumni Service Honours respectively, at the NUS Engineering 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner. In his opening address at the event, Professor Chua Kee Chaing, Dean of NUS Engineering highlighted that they have been ranked within the world's top 10 by The Times Higher Education and Quacquarelli Symonds. He added that one of its pioneer departments, Civil Engineering jumped from 7th position in 2014 to 3rd this year, which is the highest ranking achieved so far by an NUS Engineering discipline.
