NUS expert: Xi Jinping has arduous task ahead during US visit

Commenting on Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to the US in September 2015, Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS, warned that if there is no improvement in Sino-US ties, the ideological differences between both countries could lead to economic and trade decoupling and even strategic confrontation.
