NUS' Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum to raise $1 million for whale exhibit

The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum at NUS has completed 70 per cent of work to preserve the carcass of the sperm whale found recently in Singapore and may display parts of it by end of this year. The museum hopes to raise $1 million towards setting up the whale exhibit and other areas, such as supporting related education and research efforts.
