NUS' Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum salvages dead sperm whale for research

The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum at NUS deployed staff to salvage the carcass of a sperm whale that was found off the coast of Jurong Island on 10 July. This is the first time a sperm whale sighting has been recorded in Singapore. There are plans to put the sperm whale's skeleton on display once research has been completed.
