NUS medical students get to know the needs of elderly patients

Students from the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine are better prepared to meet the healthcare needs of the elderly, thanks to a curriculum revamp in 2008 which focuses more on geriatric care, in line with the rising population in Singapore. A study NUS Medicine also revealed that students' knowledge of elderly patients and their medical conditions has improved since 2008.
