NUS Medicine students accorded the WeCare Award by the North West CDC

A group of students from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS was accorded the WeCare Award at the North West Volunteers’ Awards held on 12 February 2017 at NUS University Cultural Centre for spearheading a programme for elderly residents in the district. The students would visit the residents every fortnight over a six-month period to conduct simple medical checks and activities such as grocery shopping and cooking.
