NUS study: Dopamine D4 receptor gene predicts political attitudes in Chinese females

A study led by Prof Richard Ebstein from the Dept of Psychology at the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences has found an association between genes and political leanings and attitudes. The team found that Singaporean Chinese females who possess a particular variant of the Dopamine D4 receptor gene are generally more politically conservative.
