NUS study examines effectiveness of the Syariah Court’s Marriage Counselling Programme

A study by two NUS Social Work undergraduates with the Syariah Court found that positive attitudes towards marriage are key to saving troubled households. It also found couples are generally reluctant to attend counselling sessions, regardless of whether they intend to reconcile or divorce.
