NUS study: Singaporeans frown on religion influencing politics

An international study on people’s attitudes towards religion was conducted by Senior Research Fellow Dr Mathew Mathews, Research Associate Leonard Lim and Research Assistant Shanthini Selvarajan, all from the Institute of Policy Studies at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS. A total of 1,800 Singapore residents aged 18 and older were surveyed through face-to-face interviews carried out between August and December 2018 for the Singapore component of the study.
