NUS team develops device to treat ear condition

A team of researchers, led by Assoc Prof Tan Kok Kiong from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NUS Faculty of Engineering, and Adjunct Assoc Prof Lynne Lim from the Department of Otolaryngology at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, has developed a novel handheld device for the treatment of a common ear condition called Otitis Media with Effusion, or “glue ear”. The invention, known as CLiKX, could significantly improve current surgical methods.
