NUS team develops water-based air-conditioner

A research team led by Assoc Prof Ernest Chua from the Dept of Mechanical Engineering at NUS Faculty of Engineering has developed a green air-conditioning system that does not use chemical compounds which deplete the ozone in the atmosphere, and does not require a compressor. Together, the features make it a world first.
