Overt religious persecution in 8 of 10 ASEAN states: NUS Study

A study led by Asst Prof Jaclyn Neo from NUS Faculty of Law, found that blurring lines between religion and nationalism, weak rule of law and the politicisation of religion are primary factors fuelling religious persecution in member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and across the region.
