Plastic problem

Prof Seeram Ramakrishna from the Dept of Mechanical Engineering at NUS Faculty of Engineering, and Chair of Circular Economy Taskforce at NUS opined that as plastic cannot be totally eliminated from modern life, what we need is plastic which is safe and sustainable. He noted that with concerted and sustained efforts and new innovations, plastic will be very different in future.
