Primary healthcare system plays critical role in fight against dengue

Asst Prof Vincent Pang Junxiong from the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health in NUS, and Director of Centre for Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Research in NUS, and Prof Leo Yee Sin, Director of the Institute of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology, and Clinical Director of the Communicable Disease Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital discussed the role of primary healthcare doctors in managing dengue in the community setting and noted that they contribute greatly to surveillance, research and prevention of dengue.
