The promise of artificial intelligence is not assured

Prof Ho Teck Hua, Senior Deputy President and Provost Designate, and Tan Chin Tuan Centennial Professor at NUS, shared his views on AI.SG, an initiative he leads as Executive Chairman. Prof Ho said that in order to attract talent from competing AI research centres, AI.SG will focus on projects with industrial applications rather than pure sciences.
