Research into cold energy from LNG among beneficiaries of S$27m govt grants

Prof Neal Chung and Asst Prof Praveen Linga from the Dept of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at NUS Faculty of Engineering will be leading two separate research projects that will focus on harvesting and using the cold energy released in the process of regasifying liquefied natural gas. They are among 13 projects which have been awarded S$27 million in research grants by the Energy Market Authority.
