Research facility employs new tech to take on TB, dementia

The Clinical Imaging Research Centre, a joint venture between NUS and A*STAR, was officially opened by Minister for Finance and Deputy Chairman of the National Research Foundation, Mr Heng Swee Keat. Located at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the centre is the first national platform for research imaging in diseases and first in South­east Asia to use magnetic resonance imaging­compatible positron emission tomographic scanner technology.
