Rohingya crisis at a crucial point for Myanmar’s leaders

Dr Yap Kwong Weng of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS discussed Myanmar’s crackdown on the Rohingya in Rakhine state, and opined that this could have serious implications for Myanmar’s socio-economic outlook and, more critically, increase the risk of religion affecting interstate ties in Asean.
