Saving the banded leaf monkeys

A group of NUS researchers, led by Prof Rudolf Meier from the NUS Dept of Biological Sciences and Deputy Head of the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum at NUS, had used state-of-the-art genetic sequencing for a study on the critically endangered banded leaf monkey in Singapore, and to come up with strategies to protect the species from extinction here.
