SGTI2019: progress made thus far commendable

Assoc Prof Lawrence Loh, Director of the Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations at NUS Business School noted that the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index (SGTI) 2019 saw mixed results at the level of practices, and opined that a targeted approach is probably necessary to encourage companies to adopt the entirety of the Code of Corporate Governance and listing rules.
